Principal Responsibilities
- Integrate and configure a variety of PC hardware, operating system software, and peripherals, including assembling PC components, installing circuit boards, disk drives, and mass storage devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and configuration issues using techniques like circuit analysis, waveform calculations, fault isolation, PROM programming, and signal flow tracing.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions or failures, following process requirements.
- Document defective part replacements, shipping details, build process updates, and other relevant activities.
- Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance key performance metrics.
Job Level Specifications
- Developing a basic understanding of job functions, practices, and procedures.
- Learning necessary skills to perform tasks, with work that is routine and moderately complex.
- Tasks are completed under supervision, with detailed instructions provided.
- Primarily interacts with immediate team members, with occasional collaboration across departments.
- Decisions and tasks typically impact assigned work areas.
Qualifications
Work Experience:
- Less than one year of related experience.
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A certification (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Availability to work overtime based on business requirements.
