What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician position at Eastridge?
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are looking for an E-2 Licensed Electrician for a precast building manufacturing company in Wallingford, CT.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications for industrial electrical installations.
- Bend conduit of all types, including RIGID, EMT, and PVC.
- Utilize tools such as hand benders, hydraulic benders, electric rotary benders, band saws, and threading equipment.
- Operate coring machines to drill penetrations in concrete buildings.
- Pull wire and perform various electrical terminations.
Qualifications:
- CT-licensed E-2 Journeyman Electrician (required).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- 1–3 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
Work Environment:
- Indoor, year-round shop environment with temperature control in winter.
- Work primarily on prefabricated precast buildings with typical heights under 10 feet (no need for lifts or tall ladders).
- Must be able to travel out of state for building installations as needed.
