We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join their dynamic team and contribute to a state-of-the-art facility.
Position Details:
- Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Pay: $32/hour Shift Differential
Responsibilities:
- Managing Facilities and Repair/Maintenance Service Tickets for timely completion of preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conducting daily inspections of the facility and reporting on conditions that affect operations.
- Overseeing tasks by Field Service and maintenance contractors for all site systems.
- Responding promptly to site emergencies, ensuring effective resolution.
- Preparing reports on building conditions and equipment issues with root cause analysis and preventative recommendations.
- Becoming the subject matter expert (SME) on assigned site equipment by utilizing OEM manuals.
- Prioritizing safety by developing expertise in site infrastructure and safety systems.
- Upholding compliance with federal, local, and state regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; EPA 608 Technician Certification preferred.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience with a proven track record.
- Strong attention to detail and solid planning skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Mechanical, welding, and electrical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Strong time management skills and commitment to deadlines.
- Basic project management skills with a focus on results.
