Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler for a distribution center in the West Valley.
Shifts & Pay:
- Monday-Thursday, 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM | $21/hr
- Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM | $21/hr
- Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM | $22/hr
- Friday-Sunday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM | $23/hr
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move products within the warehouse and onto trucks for distribution.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain energy sources for forklifts.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory accurately.
- Perform safety inspections, audits, and adhere to warehouse standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to prevent line stoppages and improve operations.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain palletizing equipment.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or inventory environment.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food & Beverage industries is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Understanding of warehouse IT and ordering systems.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in various conditions, including exposure to mechanical parts and outdoor elements.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
