We are currently hiring for multiple forklift operators for 1st and 2nd shift at a leading company specializing in beverage packaging in Irwindale, CA.
Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our beverage company’s warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and organizing beverage products within our facility. Your primary duties will include operating a forklift to load and unload shipments, transporting pallets and other heavy loads, and ensuring that all inventory is handled safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the manufacturing facility.
- Load and unload corrugated materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist in the organization and management of inventory within the facility.
- Conduct regular counts and checks to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Adjust to changes in material handling requirements based on production demands.
- Collaborate with other forklift operators and team members to optimize workflow.
- Communicate effectively with production supervisors, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate material movements.
- Report any issues or delays that may impact production schedules.
Qualifications
- 5 years operating a forklift (stand up or sit down)
- Forklift experience needs to be within a beverage or liquid company
- The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift certification
- Strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work overtime
