Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are looking for a Front Desk/HR Assistant for a manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations & Administrative Support:
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, handling phone calls, mail, and directing deliveries.
- Ensure a professional and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
- Maintain and order office supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Coordinate luncheons and meetings.
- Provide administrative support to the EHS Manager and other departments as approved by the HR Manager.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries and issues.
- Develop communication plans to keep employees informed, including company newsletters.
Human Resources Administration:
- Maintain filing systems (both paper and electronic).
- Manage timekeeping, including attendance, overtime reports, time-off requests, and timecard oversight.
- Support employee inquiries related to benefits, training, and other HR matters.
- Assist with additional office administration and HR tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of Human Resources functions.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance (PM) principles and practices.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
