Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our client's team. This role is 100% onsite in Rancho Dominguez, CA.
Manages & Oversees Benefits
- Administers all benefits
- Facilitates enrollment and modifications to benefits
- Acts as liaison between employees and insurance company
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits
Manages & Oversees Risk Management
- Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
- May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Manage all worker’s compensation claims & reporting requirements
Manages & Oversees Onboarding/Offboarding
- Coordinating new hire procedures including background investigations
- Conducting new employee orientations
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Conduct and document exit interviews
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and personnel files
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll/system data
- Manage all leaves of absence
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and practices in CA including the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, various leave laws, discrimination laws, and wage and hour
- PHR or SHRM Certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
