Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist for a manufacturing or aerospace/defense company.
Responsibilities:- Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and termination processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
- Conduct benefits orientations and guide employees through the self-enrollment system.
- Track and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, including safety, anti-harassment, and professional certifications.
- Support and enforce HR policies, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance management, and workplace safety.
- Assist with payroll processing and HRIS maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEOC, ADA, and FMLA regulations.
- Facilitate health and wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs.
- Oversee local performance review processes and policy administration.
- Support workers' compensation administration and reporting.
- Handle employment-related inquiries, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of human resource management experience preferred.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience with benefits administration and HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to handle employee issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
