Eastridge is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for a leader in home bedding products, textile manufacturing & one of the largest producers of basic bedding products in the world.
Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory within the facility both physically and systematically. This encompasses raw materials, components and finished goods. This role involves creating and implementing SOPs to maintain accurate inventory, conducting periodic cycle counts, and auditing procedures that impact inventory accuracy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervising inventory control processes.
- Supervising inventory control team members.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze inventory reports, investigating any discrepancies or questionable findings.
- Ensure synchronization between NetSuite and WMS systems, identifying and resolving any discrepancies including making adjustments if necessary.
- Develop and implement a cycle count program, ensuring each item is counted 2-3 times annually, with more frequent counts for fast-moving items.
- Train employees on WMS functions and other procedures that impact inventory accuracy.
- Prepare the facility for the annual physical inventory, with a goal of replacing it through regular cycle counts.
- Serve as WMS super user for end-to-end operational workflows from receiving to outbound, as well as inventory control.
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Detailed understanding of warehouse operations workflows and processes. Production / manufacturing preferred.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
