We are hiring an Inventory Support Coordinator/ Material Handler to support our client, a device company dedicated to improving human welfare through the research, design, manufacture, and sale of energy-based medical products and services that alleviate pain to improve quality of life in Scottsdale, AZ.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for coordinating various product related activities associated with the shipping, receiving and testing of medical devices and related supplies. This role identifies, investigates, determines, and applies information relative to patient accounts and will ensure that all patient account information is accurate in the ERP system. This person will work very closely with the Sales force to ensure medical devices are processed, delivered and retrieved as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing of Product and Patient Requests in ERP
- Accurately entering information into ERP
- Packaging and Shipping of Medical Devices
- Cleaning / Processing of returned medical equipment; Light Assembly work; Touch up / Cosmetics
- Assisting with other Operations Support and office functions as required
- Telephone coordination with patients, sales managers, prosthetics agents, billing agencies, physician offices, etc.
- Follow, create, and update protocols
- Typing, Filing, Data Entry
- Customer Service Support
CORE COMPETENCIES / KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Extremely accurate in data entry
- Good organizational skills and an orientation to detail is required
- Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Time management skills and multi-tasking abilities required
- Detail-oriented; flexible and creative
- Interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively with all levels of staff
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING REQUIRED
- Minimum H. S. degree or G.E.D. equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
- 2 to 4 years shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Customer Service experience
- Bilingual a plus
COMMUNICATION & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- Ability to clearly present written information and findings
- Ability to communicate concepts
- Ability to interact well with co-workers and outside contacts
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to operate a computer and printer for up to 8 hrs/day
- Able to work standard office equipment (photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.)
- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
- Regularly uses hands to operate computer and other office equipment.
- Close vision required for computer usage.
- Frequently lifts 15 lbs. (the weight of our medical device)
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 pounds.
