We are seeking a skilled Litigation Secretary with 3-5 years of experience to support our attorneys in handling a variety of litigation matters. This is a fast-paced, full-time role offering competitive compensation in a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to litigation attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing case files.
- Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery) with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Handle e-filing with both state and federal courts.
- Coordinate trial preparation (exhibits, witness lists, depositions).
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, both physical and electronic.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of litigation secretarial experience.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, including state and federal e-filing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
