We’re partnering with a full-service global law firm located in Denver in their search for a Litigation/Family Law Legal Assistant to join their growing team. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with document preparation, case coordination, scheduling, and communication with clients and court officials. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing sensitive legal matters with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery responses).
- File legal documents with courts, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Coordinate attorneys’ calendars, including court dates, depositions, and meetings.
- Schedule and confirm appointments with clients, witnesses, and court reporters.
- Manage billing-related documentation and prepare expense reports.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- 5 years of litigation experience, preferably supporting multiple attorneys in a mid-sized to large law firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management software (iManage).
- Familiarity with legal terminology, processes, and protocols.
Work Environment:
- Four work from home days per month.
- In-office attendance required in the Denver office for remaining workdays.
- Professional and collaborative office environment.
- Overtime may be required on an as-needed basis.
