Schedule is 2nd shift with opportunities for overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate multi-axis CNC Lathes and Mills to produce high-precision components.
- Load raw materials and change tooling as required to meet production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
- Perform offset adjustments, tool changes, and troubleshooting to maintain machine efficiency.
- Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure part conformity.
- Identify and resolve machining errors, ensuring minimal scrap and rework.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper lubrication and upkeep of equipment.
- Work closely with programmers and engineers to optimize machining processes and improve cycle times.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including production logs, quality reports, and machine settings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, GMP, and company policies in the machining area.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2 years of experience operating multi-axis CNC Lathes and/or Mills in a precision machining environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, or other CNC controls preferred.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and editing is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
