Job Duties & Essential Functions:
This list is not exhaustive and may be adjusted as needed by management.
- Maintain a strong "safety-first" mindset, adhering to OSHA and company safety policies, including LOTO, GMP, ARC Flash, PPE practices, and housekeeping standards.
- Apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and repair manufacturing machinery, including plastic molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and robots.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, plumbing, and machinery.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, including transformers and robots.
- Collaborate with vendors to procure spare parts and supplies.
- Perform and assist with scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Repair air leaks and ensure proper equipment functionality.
- Conduct and assist with weekly, monthly, and annual EHS inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to GMP, food safety, and quality regulations.
- Support other teams with tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or related training.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills to report equipment issues and solutions.
- Team player committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must provide a personal set of basic tools.
