We are seeking a Production Worker for a premium manufacturer of high-quality, customizable kitchen and bathroom faucets, shower systems, and bath accessories in Huntington Beach, CA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity on the 1st shift (5:15 AM – 2:00 PM) in the Plating Department.
Position Overview
The Precision Racker plays a key role in supporting the Machine Operator by securely fixturing products onto designated racks for washing and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) vacuum coating. This position ensures accurate documentation and production tracking while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the PVD coating sequence and production flow.
- Maintain and process work orders while ensuring traceability of customer property.
- Handle customer products and tooling with care to prevent damage.
- Learn and apply proper fixturing techniques for racking and un-racking parts per work order specifications.
- Select racks based on size, shape, and quantity of parts.
- Manually transfer racked products (up to 40 lbs.) to automated cleaning baskets and carousels.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure finishes meet specifications.
- Complete all required paperwork and part tags accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve when encountering challenges.
- Effective communication skills to report discrepancies and implement solutions.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comfortable lifting 1 to 50 lbs. as required.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
