We are seeking an experienced Transactional Real Estate Legal Assistant for an international full-service law firm. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of transactional experience, providing high-level administrative support to multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
- Draft, proofread, edit, and finalize real estate legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, and closing documents.
- Prepare real estate transactional documents such as property transfer documents, escrow instructions, and loan documents.
- Ensure documents comply with firm standards and legal formatting requirements.
- Create closing binders and maintain transaction checklists to track deliverables.
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, calls, and deadlines related to client matters.
- Track key dates and deadlines for transactions and filings.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to schedule meetings or closings.
- Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining client files and organizing due diligence documents.
- Manage travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and other administrative needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client and firm information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of transactional experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with legal document management software.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, processes, and protocols.
