Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer (CPE/EXEMPT) for our client in Seattle, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with a global company focused on developing scalable systems and services.
- Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – 6 days onsite per month)
- Pay Rate: $90–$122/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development and testing of systems and services
- Shape the technical architecture of products and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Deliver scalable, highly available services in a production environment
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to team growth
- Generate innovative ideas for new initiatives and technologies
- Communicate effectively with project leads, product managers, and developers
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4 years of programming experience, ideally with a modern stack
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Scala; experience with Spring, PostgreSQL, and React
- Familiarity with Kubernetes in a service-oriented architecture (100 services in production)
- Strong understanding of relational databases and ORMs
- Experience with SOA or microservice-based applications
- Ability to collaborate on code reviews, manage pull requests, and drive projects to completion
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Interest in personal finance
- Experience managing investments or loans
- Background in scaling highly available, mission-critical systems
- Full-stack experience in systems (e.g., Kafka, Docker), databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), or front-end (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React)
