We are hiring for a Specialist, SAP Finance & Taxation Management role at a company recognized as a Great Place to Work – 2022. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, the Center of Excellence, and external consultants to support, enhance, and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions and associated bolt-ons to optimize financial business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Finance team to address business challenges and incorporate them into system solutions.
- Report directly to IT Management, while functionally operating under the Center of Excellence (COE) in New Jersey.
- Provide SAP S/4HANA support for Finance and Accounting teams, integrating with applications such as OneSource, Kyriba, Ariba, and Blackline.
- Troubleshoot issues, guide users, and implement solutions in line with TAH Global Process Design Template and business needs.
- Respond to Help Desk tickets and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects throughout their life cycle—including requirements gathering, solution development, testing, and training.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve key integration points between business processes.
- Maintain the Global Process Design Template, ensuring proper configuration, test scripts, and compliance with finance, accounting, and tax regulations.
- Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts, including maintenance patches, version upgrades, and new bolt-on integrations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in Finance & Accounting, specifically in:
- Master Data (G/L accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers)
- General Ledger Accounting
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- Accounts Payable & Receivable, Intercompany Transactions
- Product Costing & Financial Supply Chain Management
- Profitability Analysis & Bank Configuration Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience integrating SAP FI with SD and MM modules.
- Strong background in support/AMS environments with SLA-based issue resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its latest versions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with HP ALM management, ITSM, Solution Manager, and ChaRM.
- Medical device industry experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A growth mindset, with a willingness to learn new skills, techniques, and processes.
