We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with at least 7 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, general ledger proficiency, and financial reporting skills, along with excellent organization, time management, and leadership abilities. Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Oversee trust receipts, disbursements, AP/AR coordination, and vendor payments.
- Conduct high-volume invoice tracking, month-end close, and GAAP compliance.
- Assist with accounting process improvements and financial analysis.
- 7 years of relevant AP/accounting experience in a law firm or professional services.
- 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial operations.
- Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s or higher preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Aderant experience is a plus.
