We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager on behalf of a leading international pharmaceutical company. This role will serve as the primary liaison between Brand Marketing teams and Information Technology (IT) and play a pivotal role in developing strategic marketing content while leveraging various resources and vendors to implement innovative digital marketing programs.
Primary Responsibilities
Execute Portfolio Digital Marketing Strategy
- Support the development and execution of digital marketing solutions to enhance the HCP and patient experience.
- Utilize cutting-edge digital marketing optimization strategies for NME launches to ensure impactful omnichannel campaigns that drive belief and behavior change.
- Harness both internal and external innovations in traditional and non-traditional technologies aligned with brand priorities and strategy.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to create and deploy content across digital platforms (e.g., web, SEO/SEM, CRM, email, social media, and digital advertising) to optimize user funnels and drive demand.
- Work with external partners to evaluate emerging technologies and integrated marketing trends, providing thought leadership and recommendations for adoption.
- Partner with Brand Marketing and agencies to develop and implement an effective digital influencer strategy.
- Manage digital marketing vendor relationships, timelines, workflows, and budgets, identifying opportunities for efficiency and synergy.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Compliance) to ensure all digital initiatives meet legal, regulatory, and medical standards.
Evaluate Business Impact and Drive Optimization
- Conduct maturity assessments of digital platforms in partnership with vendors, recommending optimizations based on findings.
- Collaborate with IT to extract and analyze data, generate actionable insights, and propose optimizations to business partners.
- Partner with IT, Corporate Business Office, and Insights & Analytics to measure ROI on launched programs, including HCP-level initiatives.
- Monitor key performance trends and provide hypotheses and recommendations to address unexpected changes.
Drive Portfolio and Enterprise Impact
- Collaborate with brand leads to develop tailored digital omnichannel solutions that drive business goals.
- Leverage insights across brands to drive innovation, optimization, and establish best practices for digital marketing.
- Champion enterprise-wide digital marketing optimization initiatives based on empirical evidence from commercial campaigns.
- Share real-time actionable insights with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Insights & Analytics, Corporate Strategy) to enhance annual strategic planning processes.
Education and Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in digital marketing strategy development and execution, including media channel and consumer marketing.
- At least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry marketing or related roles with knowledge of brand management, professional promotion, patient education, and sales processes.
- Expertise in digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
- Oncology marketing experience, including product launch experience, is required.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proven project management abilities to manage competing priorities, vendors, and promotional budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, drive decision-making, and deliver high-quality results.
- Strategic thinking to support enterprise-level needs.
Travel and Location
- Remote work option available.
- Must reside in the East Coast time zone.
- Ability to travel (20%) for meetings, market research, and conferences.
