Position Overview:
As a Bank Teller at EastRise Credit Union, you will be the face of our institution, providing exceptional customer service and supporting our members in their financial journeys via video conferencing teller machines. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions, assisting members with account inquiries, and ensuring a positive and efficient banking experience. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our credit union by maintaining accurate records, promoting our products and services, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and procedures.

Position Details:
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Location: South Burlington, VT or Montpelier, VT
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members with routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing.
- Maintain basic knowledge of Credit Union products and services
- Have a solid understanding of the ITMs and how they work
- Understand what the member needs to do to process a transaction, submit cash, sign, and provide an ID.
- Assist members verbally from their remote location when a transaction isn’t working as planned
- Be aware of the unique experience of servicing members through a two-way video. Communicate on screen in a way that is positive, polite, friendly, and helpful to members
- Respond to member inquiries about products and services and rates and options
- Explain the use and benefits of products and services to access and utilize accounts
- Refer member to appropriate team member after discovery
- Commitment to exceeding member expectations
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a customer service is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide outstanding service to members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
- Must be comfortable working in an audio/video environment.
- Basic knowledge of financial products and services is a plus.
