Clinical Coordinator (RDA lead plus Front office)
Eastshore Pediatric Dental is seeking an experienced registered dental assistant for the role of clinical coordinator. The clinical coordinator needs to be able to communicate well with the Doctor, office manager, and back and front office staff, as well as be comfortable talking to pediatric patients and their families in a warm and professional manner; with the goal of ensuring that our office offers the highest level of service. This position involves both front and back office duties and requires high executive functioning, leadership skills, and creative thinking.
This role is a great fit for someone who likes both front and back, has a lot of back office experience and is interested in working as leader. The daily job will involve bringing your back office knowledge and perspective to the front office while managing the flow of the back office, and helping as an RDA in the back office as needed.
Front office duties:
- Ensure Doctors schedule has good flow and implement and uphold systems to keep the schedule productive and filled.
- Communicate with front office team in regards to filling the schedule so that the back and front teams are coordinated and function as a unit.
- Monitor and manage schedule flow throughout the day in collaboration with office manager.
- Help fill schedules for production and good flow, need to be comfortable calling families and running reports to help fill the schedule.
- Treatment plan coordination and presenting treatment plans to families. Need to have mid to high level of understanding of insurances to explain clearly to families.
- Help front office with daily appointments and understand frequency limitations, help front ensure services are correct and that eligibility is updated.
Back office duties:
- RDA duties including but not limited to assisting Doctor in treatment in clinic and hospital facility for General Anesthesia, coronal polishes, oral hygiene instruction, placement of SDF, sealants, impressions, radiographs and assisting with notes for recalls.
Position is full time and includes competitive hourly pay (depending on experience).
