Job Summary:
Therapy interns provide outpatient counseling services at the ECC office or through Simple Practice telehealth platform.
Does This Describe Your Qualifications?
- Education: currently pursuing a Master’s degree in a counseling and/or behavior health related field
- Bachelor’s degree
Job Requirements
- Ability to hold a caseload of 10 clients per week
- Timely and detailed documentation of case notes (within 24hrs)
- Non-discriminatory approach to patient, caring for all clients regardless of gender identify, age, ethnicity or other demographic factors
- Comfortable with both giving and receiving respectful, honest, and constructive feedback
- Be present in-person at the ECC Kirkland office at least 2x per week for sessions and supervision (Mondays and Fridays)
- Conduct one client session with live supervision
- Present an intervention/modality biannually during the monthly team meeting
- Present a quarterly case study presentation for group supervision
- Attend weekly 1-hr supervision with ECC’s clinical supervisor
- Attend weekly 2-hr group supervision on Wednesdays from 9AM - 11AM with ECC’s clinical supervisor
- Attend the monthly administrative staff meeting
Required Skills:
- Conducting strength-based assessment for new clients and families
- Provide culturally sensitive, evidenced based interventions for clients and families
- Provide ethical and confidential telehealth therapy through HIPAA Compliant SimplePractice platform
- Maintain professional competence through continuing education
- Attend weekly individual consultation with ECC’s clinical supervisor
- Attend weekly group supervision on Wednesdays from 9AM - 11AM with ECC’s clinical supervisor
- Attend monthly administrative staff meeting
- Present a quarterly case study
