Night Shuttle Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely around the Charleston peninsula. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate a wheel chair lift. Driver will be responsible to keep vehicle clean and neat. Working nights. The shift is specifically from 11pm - 3am. Must be able to work these hours if you apply. Do not apply if unable to work these hours. Operations are all 7 nights a week.

Duties

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport students that request a ride.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and mechanical soundness.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, riderhisp, and any incidents.
• Assist with loading students as needed.
• Provide excellent customer. Drive must exercise patience.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A CDL is not required.
• Driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week

• 4 hour shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Rotating weekends
