Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is the largest, private, not-for-profit provider of mental health, substance abuse, housing, residential, employment and educational services in the Miami Valley. Our Dayton based Northcutt Residential Treatment Center is seeking a Child and Adolescent Therapist to work with boys age 6-13 who have mental health and behavioral health issues as a result of childhood trauma.
The ideal candidate will be creative and energetic with the capability of remaining calm in stressful situations. The candidate most enjoy working with kids and being part of behavioral healthcare team that helps each other do their best. The clinical team provides individual, group, and family therapy services while using a variety of traditional and creative therapy techniques. This position allows you to play at work and receive lots of hugs from clients, while allowing you some flexibility in your treatment services and your schedule.
The Child and Adolescent Therapist works independently and in collaboration with the team to provide individual and family counseling through comprehensive diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and intervention services.
Requirements :
Licensure of LSW, LPC, LISW or LPCC
Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling is preferred
Knowledge in the area of child development
Education or experience in child mental health approaches and treating traumatized children.
Physical stamina to keep up with child and to pass Safe Crisis Management training.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus upon accepting a position at a OhioMHAS-licensed community behavioral health center (CBHC)
An additional $5,000 bonus after completing one year of employment at a CBHC
