What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN or RN Pool Nights position at Eastway Behavioral Healthcare?
The Ranch of Opportunity, located in Fayette County, extends Eastway' s continuum of services to meet the complex needs of children and adolescents who require a full spectrum of behavioral health services. The Ranch offers a peaceful and spacious environment, away from the pressure of an urban setting and the negative influence of peers. It will provide a healthy setting for adolescents to live, learn and develop.
This nursing position is responsible for the provision of professional nursing care to the girls at the Ranch of Opportunity; assists in coordinating medication/somatic services that address client needs; provides information regarding client conditions and responses to medication according to physician orders and to collaborate pertinent information to other treatment disciplinary for the progress of clients treatment.
Must be a registered LPN or RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Caring and empathetic person who understands the high prevalence of traumatic experiences in persons who receive behavioral health services. Knowledge of children who have experienced complex traumas, mental health and substance abuse issues. This position also requires candidates to pass Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training, which requires individuals to be physically capable of sustained, intense exertion. May not have a physical disability or condition that would prevent one from participating in the physical restraint techniques and exercises (such as dropping repeatedly to knees, supporting another adult's weight, twisting and turning.

nights 6pm to 6am Pool available
