Residential Program Manager

Now hiring for a Program Manager at The Heritage of Hannah Neil residential facility which provides mental health treatment for children who’ve experienced trauma. The Program Manager manages the team of Shift Leaders and Residential Specialists who provide direct care to the children that we treat.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Program Manager (PM) will be a floor leader to staff, and will provide guidance, redirection, and live training as required. The PM will support the program leader in providing leadership on their shifts.

Provides consistent leadership to program leaders, and will be their primary support and problem solver. This includes identifying training needs, facilitating the development of monthly schedules and ensuring coverage.

PM will be available as an on-call support, answer their phone and texts as needed, and be available to come in for crisis situations.

Assertively leads and corrects inappropriate staff behaviors. PM will suggest disciplinary action to the Director as needed.

Independently enforce policies and procedures to program staff.

Works various shifts to support shifts that have the most need as the shift hours will vary due to milieu needs.

Facilitates the evaluation of residential staff and will notify the Director of hiring needs. The PM will interview candidates for employment.

Ensures that client point sheets are completed correctly and turned in in a timely fashion

Ensures that all other necessary shift paperwork is completed and turned in.

Communicates children’s needs, such as clothing and hygiene products and make sure they are in stock and ordered and needed.

Holds regular supervision with program leads and will ensure that all leadership communications are effectively shared.

Qualifications

Minimum education of High School Diploma

Prior experience with kids in a Residential setting

Previous supervision experience is required

Ability to work a flexible schedule and to be on call

Valid driver license
