Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented BOH Event Assistants to support our culinary team at catering events. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and plating according to chef’s instructions
- Set up and maintain back-of-house event workstations
- Ensure all food items are properly handled, stored, and labeled
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
- Assist with loading/unloading food and equipment for offsite events
- Assist Event Chef in gathering and packing out all food and beverages for upcoming events
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support the culinary team with any additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Reliability – Must be punctual and dependable
- Attention to Detail – Ability to follow recipes, portioning, and plating instructions precisely
- Ability to Follow Directions – Execute tasks exactly as instructed with minimal supervision
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
