Are you an experienced Bookkeeper and are looking for some part-time work with a flexible schedule? We're looking for someone extremely organized, proficient with QuickBooks Online, and Excel, and knowledgeable on best practices for accounting to assist a growing Real Estate company.
Compensation :
20-$25 hourly depending on experience
Responsibilities :
- Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses
- Review accounts payable and receivable everyday to make sure invoices and expense reports are accurate
- Assist the real estate team or other staff accountants with other accounting duties as needed
- Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
- Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost
- Stay on top of any needed collections and make sure our bills are paid on time
- Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings
