Summary
As a Dietary Manager at Easy Living Country Estates, you will be responsible for overseeing the dietary department and ensuring that all nutritional needs of our residents are met. This role is vital in maintaining the health and well-being of our residents while promoting a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized dietary care plans based on resident assessments.
- Supervise dietary staff to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular evaluations of resident dietary needs and preferences.
- Manage food service operations, including menu planning and inventory management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize resident nutrition.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding dietary practices and nutrition education.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain accurate records related to dietary services and resident care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in dietary management or nutrition services, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of nutritional guidelines and dietary regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.

Responsibilities
This Dietary Manager will be responsible for tasks to include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate activities of food service staff.
- Coordinate timing of food production activities.
- Cut cooked or raw foods.
- Prepare foods for cooking or serving.
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
- Prepare the dining room for meals.
- Serve food appropriately to each resident with the help of staff.
- Assist in planning menu options.
- Estimate supplies, ingredients, or staff requirements for food preparation activities.
- Inspect facilities, equipment or supplies to ensure conformance to standards.
- Maintain food, beverage, or equipment inventories.
- Manage food service operations or parts of operations.
- Monitor food services operations to ensure procedures are followed.
- Train food preparation or food service personnel.
- Communicate with residents to resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction.
- Schedule equipment maintenance.
