Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Overview
We are hiring a construction superintendent/ project manager to run our manufactured home installations in Polk, Hardee, Desoto, Highlands, and Okeechobee counties.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years experience supervising multiple home construction projects simultaneously from start to finish. All candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of home building/construction experience. You should have general knowledge of the work that each trade must do in order to completely build a home. You should be able to read and understand building plans. You should be able to read and understand the rules and regulations for all work. This means you understand general construction regulations and are familiar with the Florida Building code. You should understand job safety. You will be responsible for the management of 7-12 employees under your supervision.

We are a manufactured home dealer/installer with three locations in mid west Florida. We install 100's of homes per year. We have plenty of work and we are growing. You will be able to advance your career with us.

Duties

• Jobsite safety.
• Verify that the install crews are installing homes according to the set up plan and site plan.
• Verify that all sub contracted work is being done correctly and to code.
• Understand how to safely use all tools on the job site.
• Troubleshoot issues and solve them during construction.
• Organize the crews and work schedule in the most efficient manor.
• Maintain construction schedules and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites.
• Work directly with customers providing great communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven construction project management experience.
• Proven hands on construction experience and management experience.
• Hard worker. Someone who is serious about work and career.
• Able to read and understand plans, regulations, manuals, etc.
• Ability to use computers, email, text ext to communicate with customers and suppliers.
• Willingness to learn new ways of doing work that are better, safer, and more efficient.
• Must have a valid driver's license for company truck.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,300.00 - $1,500.00 per week
