About the Job
We are seeking an Industrial Production Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and adjust processing equipment to ensure efficient production
- Perform operator-level maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to good housekeeping practices and following safety protocols
- Comply with all relevant food safety and quality control programs, including documentation and data entry
- Support other departments as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- High School Diploma/GED or minimum of two years relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Excel and Word
- Forklift experience
