AFTERNOON PACKER
Easy Tiger, one of Austin’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking an Afternoon Packer to join our wholesale bakery team!
We boast one of the highest quality wholesale bakeries in the country featuring local, nutritious, beautiful bread that has no dough conditioners. We are looking for team members that are hardworking, unique, and find joy in actively serving their team and clients by creating an amazing artisanal product.
The Easy Tiger Packer position is committed to ensuring that all Easy Tiger Bread is up to standard and packaged correctly in time for deliveries.
REPORTS TO: Bakery Management Team
SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly / Non-Exempt
SHIFT TIME: 9:00am - 5:00pm
SHIFT TIME: 9:00am - 5:00pm
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Organize and arrange freshly baked breads & pastries
- Properly slice and pack all items in preparation for loading & delivery
- Assist delivery drivers with loading of delivery vehicles
- Keep an accurate count of what was packed vs ordered
- Give notes & feedback on the activities of the evening for reference
- Keep our space clean and organized
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Passion for quality food & hospitality
- High attention to detail and focus on quality
- Team player with a friendly disposition towards a positive workplace
- Current Texas Food Handlers certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, lift, bend and twist for 8 hours
