We are seeking a Tree Crew Leader to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced tree care professional who is ready to lead, mentor, and inspire a crew while delivering top-quality tree services. Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of 2-3 members, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality work.
- Climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and/or operate aerial lifts to perform pruning and removals.
- Operate and maintain essential equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and rigging systems.
- Assess jobsite hazards and implement proper safety measures.
- Train and mentor team members to develop their climbing and technical skills.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and ensure their needs are met.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing tools, vehicles, and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in tree care, with at least 1 year in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong climbing skills (preferred) or willingness to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Valid Driver’s License w/ clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
