Service Technician/Mechanic Job Description
EasyCare (APCO) is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy, including but not limited to the repair of vehicle automotive systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
- Test a vehicle's components, and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle's status and any additional needs.
- Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Strong automotive background.
- Strong skills in teamwork and communication.
- Valid driver's license free from major infractions.
- Attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through.
