We are looking to add a new role to our leadership team – Director of Hospitality and Culture. This role will drive our exceptional teams to deliver best-in-class client service across our multiple areas of service. The Manager of People and Culture
· Concentrate on shaping the organization’s culture and overall employee experience, creating client experiences that are truly extraordinary

· Creates, maintains, and transforms the workplace culture by actively working on aligning the work environment with eat well values and a true hospitality culture
· Build a more inclusive and supportive workplace by focusing on the employees’ experience within our company
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Recruit, interview, and hire service staff, including both on-site service and commissary staff.
- Manage full cycle recruitment, including onboarding
2. Staff Scheduling, Communication, Engagement & Morale
- Ensure all events are fully staffed by building a bench of part time workers as well as managing “gig” worker sites
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment by promoting eat well's core values of hospitality, respect, and efficiency.
- Ensure open communication between management and service staff
3. Leadership, Conflict Resolution & Teamwork
- Lead by example, embodying the company’s core values, and encouraging collaboration and teamwork across all levels of the service and commissary staff.
- Proactively identify and address team dynamics that may hinder performance or morale, using conflict resolution techniques to ensure a productive work environment.
- Serve as a go-to resource for staff, providing guidance, leadership, and support as needed.
4. Policies & Quality of Life Improvements
- Take an active role in creating and enforcing policies related to Paid Time Off (PTO), wellness, and benefits, ensuring they align with company values and contribute to staff well-being
- Work with management to implement initiatives that improve staff quality of life, such as wellness programs or flexible scheduling options, aimed at enhancing retention and attracting new talent
5. Payroll Management
- Review and maintain pay ladders for service staff; ensure pay rates are updated in line with performance and promotions
- Manage the payroll process, including monitoring service staff for pay increases, handle necessary challenges or tests for promotions, and submit changes to accounting
Requirements
· At least 3 years of management experience in a related field
· Recruitment of front-line staff
· Experience with building a great culture
o Expand staff retention
o Build camaraderie among staff
o High emotional intelligence
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, (love organized chaos)
