Job Description
The FP&A Manager supports the FP&A Director in the analysis and interpretation of data related to North American market: inventory allocation, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), labor, revenue, transfers, sales, etc. The FP&A Manager works closely with the other FP&A Analysts, Area Managers and Corporate teams to provide analysis and execute changes as needed to maximize profitability and productivity. Reports directly to the FP&A Director.
· Supports the Company leadership and departments with in-depth analysis related to costs, labor, margins, stock and sales performance
· Works with store and corporate managers to create reports tailored to the managers’ data and general reporting needs
· Collaborates with senior leaders to develop resourceful and creative approaches to improving efficiencies and profit margins to improve Return on Investment (ROI) in all areas of operations
· Educates and trains team members on processes and procedures, ensuring smooth adoption and compliance
· Supports in training team members on Eataly’s in-house sales database, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Spends time on the floor if needed to always be in touch with operational and business needs
· Managing the consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
· Creating and managing the budget process, Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
· Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
· Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
· Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or Mathematics
· At least 3 years of experience in the FP&A field
· Demonstrated success in financial modeling
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Data-driven mindset
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a must
· Familiarity with databases, automation or business intelligence preferred
· Passion for and interest in Italian food
· Open to relocation preferred
The annual compensation for this role is: $115,000 - $130,000
