Job Description
Eataly is hiring a People Operations & Compensation Intern for Summer 2025 to work with and learn from Eataly’s HR Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian!
With the guidance of the Manager of Operations & Compensation, the intern will:
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of HR systems (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Support the compensation team in conducting salary benchmarking and market analysis.
- Help with the preparation and analysis of compensation reports and metrics.
- Development of broad HR metrics for wider team use; tracking turnover, onboarding compliance, manager actions
- Maintain our HR Reporting Infrastructure, be given the opportunity to recommend improvements on the Python/R coding and other services that underline it.
- Participate in workforce planning activities, including data collection and analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR processes and procedures; particularly help develop a knowledge base our teams can use going forward
- Learn our job architecture, and the process for grading new jobs according to federal guidelines.
- Assist with the rollout of our new ticketing system, testing as we build it to best support our population.
- Learn about our in-store processes, give perspective on how we as a Corporate HR team can best support them from an Operations & Compliance perspective.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
This internship runs from June - August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from approximately 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Business Analytics, Economics
- Exceptional writing, communication, and data analysis skills
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Familiarity with Excel and/or Data Programming (Python, R)
The compensation for this role is $16.50 per hour
