We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Eateam. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in facilitating material flow within our plant, ensuring timely and accurate processing of materials, and supporting our work center associates and planner/buyers with material placement and flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and process materials, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
- Verify accuracy of receiving documentation and enter data into our operating system.
- Process shipping and receiving documents, including purchase orders and shipping receipts.
- Conduct incoming inspections on designated purchased parts.
- Coordinate loading of domestic truck and international air logistics for deliveries to customers or internal stockroom locations.
- Participate in continuous improvement events and contribute to the daily 5S, cleaning, and maintenance of the facility.
Requirements:
- High school diploma with 3-4 years of experience in material handling/procurement or an associate's degree with at least 2 years of experience.
- Good understanding of shipping and regulations.
- Fork truck and power pallet jack experience or certification.
- Driver's license.
- General computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and possess a positive attitude.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, reaching, and use of hands to operate tools or controls and computer keyboards.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, holding, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, and 70 pounds on occasion.
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.
