Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative, functional, and visually appealing packaging that enhances the customer experience while aligning with brand identity, product requirements, and sustainability goals. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and an understanding of manufacturing processes. In this role, we will also be looking for someone that can manage projects in our CRM platform while performing the design tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Concept Development : Create and present packaging concepts that align with product needs, brand identity, and market trends.Design Execution : Develop detailed packaging designs, including dielines, 3D models, and prototypes, ensuring functionality and aesthetics.Material Selection : Collaborate with operations and production teams to identify materials that are cost-effective,sustainable, and suited to the product's needs.Brand Integration : Ensure packaging designs are consistent with branding guidelines and enhance the overall customer experience.Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to bring packaging concepts to life. Be willing to work flexible work hours and collaborate with our teams in Taiwan.Testing and Optimization : Oversee the testing of packaging designs to ensure durability, functionality, and compliance with industry standards. Refine designs based on feedback and performance metrics.Sustainability Initiatives : Incorporate eco-friendly materials and practices into packaging designs to support the company's sustainability goals.Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets. In addition, manage the projects from ideation to production tooling within our CRM platform.Requirements
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (2 years) in packaging design, preferably in a consumer goods or manufacturing environment.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and 3D modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Cinema 4D).Strong understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and manufacturing techniques.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and creativity.Ability to translate brand identity into compelling packaging designs.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of sustainability trends and eco-friendly materials is a plus.Ideally Bi-Lingual in English and ChinesePhysical Requirements :
