This entry-level, non-exempt position operates within the Company's Therapy Department, requiring close collaboration with EDTC Employees, Management, and Patients to support the Company's mission of delivering comprehensive clinical and nutritional counseling services. The role involves assisting clinical staff with documenting session activities, patient actions, and therapeutic protocols and monitoring patient activities during program sessions and breaks. The role also involves supervising clients during group therapy and nutrition-focused activities and assisting with biometric assessments as needed.
Description
Position Description:
- Provide support to clinical staff as directed during group therapy program sessions.
- Assist the Clinical Director or Senior Staff Clinicians with preparing program materials and drafting clinical session notes.
- Engage in higher-level care group therapy activities by documenting observations of group dynamics, individual patient activities, and statements through detailed session notes.
- Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, deliver group counseling presentations to clients or complete assigned projects focused on counseling individuals with eating disorders.
Position Requirements:
- Educational background in a social science with emphasis in one of the following areas of study:
- Health Care Administration.
- Clinical Counseling,
- Psychology,
- Social Work, or related field.
- Experience in Health Care Office Administration desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrate a specific interest in working with those suffering from and eating disorder or related diagnosis.
- Commitment to learn and understand HIPAA Requirements and Company’s Implementation of such.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Willing and able to work as a part of team to achieve company objectives.
