Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.15 - $27.69 per hour.

What you'll do :
Eaton is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to be located in Arden, NC for Summer 2025.
Essential Functions
- The summer intern will assist the Manufacturing Engineer in the following duties :
- Provide assistance to line and staff personnel in order to develop solutions for product and manufacturing problems for a complete line of apparatus.
- Assist in training and development of personnel. Assemble, verify, and analyze the results of others, prepare reports and present findings.
- Initiate and prepare specifications for products, equipment, tooling, processes, and systems to obtain optimum cost and quality manufacturability.
- Implement and utilize strategies to ensure concurrent engineering and design for manufacturing concepts with the design engineering team.
- Investigate and develop understanding of new technologies and processes and be able to assess these from a broad perspective in terms of the impact of the total business.
- Design, develop, justify, and guide the installation of new engineering concepts, equipment, tooling, processes, and systems through appropriate procedures so that optimum manufacturing cost can be achieved and maintained.
- Maintain an understanding of JIT, Lean & Agile Manufacturing, Kaizen, TQM, Poka-Yoke and cPQI.
- Other duties, projects as assigned.
