Eaton is currently seeking a Data Center Solutions – Alliance Manager to establish, manage and cultivate partner relationships to support our Data Center software business. This Remote role can be based at any home office within the United States, and is subject to 25% travel.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth for the data centers software solutions through technology alliances with segment solution partners. As a trusted advisor for our partners, you will own all aspects of business development, deal structuring, deal support and deal closure. The types of alliances which may be available for pursuit include:
· Asset management solutions
· environmental solutions
· infrastructure cabling solutions
· enterprise systems (ITSM, CMDB, BMS, BAS)
· IT vendors and monitoring solutions (gateways, protocol converters)
In this function you will:
• Assess data centers market technical solutions as targets for software and/or engineering integrations
• Analyze competing software solutions to identify a technology integration gaps which needs to be addressed for Eaton data centers software solutions
• Define technology integration strategies to be implemented with the Offer Management team
• Maintain ongoing review sessions of integrations and new features to work enhancement cycles into the Offer Management team
• Work with Marketing leads to create market facing content to promote the technology alliance solutions
• Enable sales teams with assets to understand the details of the technology solutions as well as value statements and guidance on positioning in segment specific sales conversations
• Educate commercial resources with key partners on the technology solutions and benefits for partners to drive the joint solution offers
• Leverage Eaton legal teams to review, redline and execute legal agreements establishing formal partner relationships with select technology providers
• Ensure partners provide development or demo equipment and solutions to the lab environment so the joint integrations can be developed and presented to partners and sales prospects
Your Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. STEM field preferred.
• Four (4) years minimum of experience in deploying or managing data centers technologies and platforms
• Four (4) years of experience managing formal partner technology relationships or alliances management experience preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
Your Skills:
• Comprehensive understanding of current trends and best-practices in data centers management solutions
• Strong technical understanding of application integration methods, data collection protocols, API interfaces
• Familiarity with leading data centers asset management, monitoring and case management software solutions
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and at varying levels of the organization.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $131249.97 - $192499.96 a year.

Salary : $131,250 - $192,500
