What you’ll do:
Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Lead Analyst- Digital Finance to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Hybrid work schedule available, from Beachwood, OH.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be joining our Digital Finance team within the Operations Finance & Transformation function. The role will report to our Finance Operations Senior Manager, Digital Office with a functional reporting line into Eaton's Digital Office. We are catalysts for change -- driving efficiencies, enabling innovation, and developing solutions to help our Eaton finance function deliver critical insights to our operations. In our Digital Office, we’re re-imagining innovation by adapting digital technologies – connected devices, data models and insights – to transform power management for safer and more sustainable and efficient power use. As a member of the Digital Finance team, primary responsibilities will include overall financial reporting, forecasting, and planning. We provide timely and insightful information and analysis to management to support decision making and continuously work on improving organizational performance (FP&A activities). Eaton is on a multi-year finance functional transformation journey to provide our finance teams with the tools required to do their best and most fulfilling work. This role will require working collaboratively with operational leaders, functional leaders, and finance / accounting across both Electrical Sector, Industrial Sector, and Corporate. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strategic agility, comfortably with ambiguity, superior problem-solving skills, strong business acumen, change management experience, and a demonstrated track record around application of best practices to drive value-added efficiencies and development of new capabilities.
In this function you will:
• Support the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes for Digital Office
• Support the monthly closing and forecast process
• Prepare, review, and analyze all financial reports for review with senior group management
• Support segment leadership team with analysis to support profit improvement opportunities and strategies to grow globally
• Preparation of monthly forecasting presentations and adhoc presentations
• Perform special analyses to support strategic business decision making. This can include financial analysis in support of strategic initiatives, capital investments, changing business models, acquisition activity, pricing models, etc.
• Gather, consolidate, and analyze key performance indicators across business segments and support functions
• Serve as liaison between the Sector, Corporate, and the Sector business finance teams for all related requirements
• Support Finance Operations Senior Manager on partnering with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, IT, and other teams to drive key initiatives
• Lead or assist with process improvement and automation, and other special projects as necessary
• Lead all core internal controls activities (including SOX compliance) and all requests from audit / compliance
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in FP&A in a high growth environment.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship..
