Eaton’s B-Line division is currently seeking a Production Planning Supervisor.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year.

What you’ll do:
• Supervises the efficient productive output of Production Planners in support of all inventory, production, and customer service goals using lean planning principles and processes.
• Responsible for the development and management of the team including, talent acquisition and retention, disciplinary actions, training and certifications, work assignments, scheduling vacation and monitoring attendance
• Allocates and balances the team workload in accordance with production requirements and personnel skill levels
• Develops, maintains, and reports metrics that measure and drive performance and departmental improvements.
• Analyzes forecasted demand to ensure sufficient safety stock and strategic inventory levels on all finished good products
• Develop and implement a capacity planning model to facilitate identification of capacity issues and recommend areas of additional focus or improvement.
• Work closely and proactively with purchasing to establish and maintain inventory levels that support the factory build schedules and forecasts, specifically using lean processes to delivery superior results.
• Work with customer service and shipping to drive OTD to the customer, identify potential problems and work creatively to develop and implement sustainable solutions to improve service level
• Develop and maintain countermeasures to address the root causes of gaps in planning and inventory accuracy
• Build relationships with co-workers in all areas of the plant focus on continuous process enhancement. Work toward the creation of a lean support culture in accord with our overall division lean objectives.
• Provide support to SCM for division Supply Chain initiatives/projects
• Responsible for daily macro updates for past due and current orders; facilitate resolution by working with shipping and peers to execute past due orders to meet OTD expectation.
• Monitor, measure and drive performance improvement of the STO & SCM Tier 4 planning performance metrics
• Subject matter expert & key planning contact for new product development, value engineering, and lean continuous improvement projects
• Align with management and human resource goals for training and mentoring all direct reports to ensure skill levels support organizational initiatives
• Performs other supervisory and project related tasks as required by management
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, or Business
- 5 Years experience in a Supply chain role
- Comprehensive skills with entire MS Office Package
- Extensive SAP (or similar ERP system) planning expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS CPIM, CSCP
- 5-7 years material management / material requirements planning / master production scheduling experience
- LEAN implementation experience
