About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled OEM Application Engineer to join our team at Eaton Corporation.
This is a hybrid-based position that requires collaboration with the OEM Regional Sales Vice President, involving extensive travel of at least 50% of the time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interpreting Customer Specifications: You will be responsible for interpreting customer specifications, drawings, and schematics to provide quotes and solutions.
- Training and Development: Develop and conduct training for regional sales teams, end users, and channel partners.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to the regional sales team and effectively communicate product line value propositions.
- Maintaining Product Knowledge: Maintain and expand product knowledge base, participating in product road mapping, strategy, and planning sessions.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum seven years of electrical industry sales/marketing and/or engineering experience.
- Possess excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.
- Familiarity with power distribution and control products, market knowledge, and established customer relationships within the market area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with control systems, automation, industrial processes, and programming software packages such as Codesys.
