What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Family Practice/Redicare Manager-Eaton Rapids position at Eaton Rapids Medical Center?
The ideal candidate is positive, energetic, highly dependable, well-organized, and has the ability to multi-task, while ensuring excellent service standards and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This position is a point person for concerns relating to the day to day operations of the clinical side of the practice. They work collaboratively with Providers, Medical Assistants, Front Desk staff, and patients.
- Successful management of workflow, compliance with RHC standards, policy and procedures.
- Attend and lead daily huddle.
- Manage assigned staffing to fulfill provider and patient needs serving as the liaison between clinical staff and providers.
- Monitors patient flow in real time to ensure the lowest possible wait times.
- Lead, coach, mentor and instruct clinical and clerical staff.
- Assumes responsibility for patient flow processes. Strategizes to improve the efficiency and eliminate barriers that impact patient care.
- Troubleshoots patient and staff issues. Is responsible for patient satisfaction and complaint resolution.
- Assists in the training and onboarding of new staff, and ongoing education/yearly competencies.
- Implements current and updated policies and procedures with clinical staff.
- Oversees scheduling.
- Keeps log books up to date and serves as the representative for the health inspectors.
- Oversee Expanse Workload.
- MA Quality chart review.
- Monitor and track department goals.
- Serve as the liaison between IS and the staff to communicate EHR workflows.
- Track and monitor quality measures for RHC and hospital.
- Improves revenue cycle efficiency.
- Builds healthy interpersonal relationships with other hospital departments.
BLS required upon hire and maintained throughout employment. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management required. At least three years’ experience in medical office management. Medical office billing experience preferred. Proficiency with EMR and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. CPPM or CMPE certifications preferred. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nursing in the State of Michigan, preferred.
