Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Adult Education Director, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Adult Education Instructional Coordinator performs various tasks to support the success of students and educators within the Eaton Regional Education Service Agency Adult Education program.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage student and teacher accounts: add, update, monitor, and remove accounts as needed for all program learning module systems and other necessary accounts. .
- Troubleshoot login issues for students and staff.
- Onboard new instructors and tutors, and train students and new staff on account usage.
- Analyze assessment results and use assessment results to enroll each student into coursework that aligns and is appropriate for their educational functioning level [EFL].
- Coordinate with Assessment Specialist for test tracking and monitoring.
- Oversee and monitor tutoring schedules and attendance per state guidelines.
- Identify students for fast-tracking or other special program offerings and collaborate on individualized instructional plans. Support students to referrals for special education or Michigan Rehabilitation Services referrals.
- Collaborate with curriculum vendors for account management, updates, and staff training.
- Conduct curriculum reviews using data and needs assessments to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Utilize MAERS data for program improvement initiatives.
- Attend professional development sessions and conferences to integrate best practices.
- Attend county and regional educational meetings, such as MTSS Groups, Curriculum Directors meetings, and MACAE Sub-Committees.
- Provide ongoing professional development and training with the adult education team.
- Collaborate with staff to plan and host student orientations, graduations, and other events.
- Conduct regularly scheduled, subject-specific student prep sessions.
- Act as a substitute for instructors when needed.
- Collaborate with office staff to use enrollment and assessment data for class scheduling.
- Plan and organize tutoring and other instructional/assessment activities.
- Attend and support student orientations.
- Monitor student progress, including transcripts and referrals.
- Conduct regular check-ins with each teacher/tutor on student progress.
- Hold regular check-ins with the office team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (If Applicable):

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience in adult education and instructional coordination.
- Experience with educational coaching.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in data analysis and use of educational technology.
