PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Assembly Technician I will be responsible for providing assembly support within the final assembly area. Including but not limited to the final assembly of various product lines, & sub-assemblies, through the use of specialized hand or air tools, and specific work instructions. With the main objective to provide a finished product on time and in adherence to Eaton’s quality standards.

Basic Qualifications
- 0-1 Years of Manufacturing Experience
- Must be authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorship
- Must reside within 50 miles of Tualatin OR to be considered. No relocation Benefits provided.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs with reasonable accommodation. Incumbent must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
- HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office, Outlook/Email.
- Soldering certification/experience is a plus
- Previous electronics manufacturing/assembly experience a plus

Essential Functions
- Work to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, to complete assembly or sub-assemblies.
- Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
- Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product
- Perform some mechanical/electrical inspection to maintain quality goals and part performance standards.
- Reports irregularities or equipment malfunctions
- Adheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S.
