Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Fab Machine Operator WKND Shift. to join our team in Arden, NC
The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
The core hours are 7am - 7pm Friday - Sunday. Typically OT is a voluntary basis but we do have mandatory OT when voluntary does not cover

What you’ll do:
- Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations
- Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor
- Perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines
- Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts
- Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings
- Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation
- Inspect final component against work specifications
- Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment
- Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipment
- Provide on-the-job training for new Operators
- Perform TPM and 5S responsibilities daily
- Complete any other assigned tasks from management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.
- Machining Certificate
- Previous experience in Fabrication
- DMM experience
- No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Skills:
- Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
- Able to read calipers, protractors and tape measures
- Able to read blueprints
- Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance*
- Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet (JOE), etc.
- Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
